The Port and Team Trials are two modes in Disney Heroes: Battle Mode that are useful for grinding for various rewards by fighting battles against Creeps with challenges in place. They're unlocked at Team Level ?? and are very similar in nature, but differ slightly in terms of the restrictions they put on your Heroes and the rewards they give.
Port
The Port has two different modes: the Docks and the Warehouse. Both of these modes can be played twice a day. In these modes you can pick whichever Heroes you want, but the enemies are immune to certain types of damage so you have to plan accordingly.
In the Docks, all enemies are immune to Fantastic Damage. You earn XP Drinks from winning battles in this mode. The Docks are open on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
In the Warehouse, all enemies are immune to Normal Damage. You earn gold from winning battles in this mode. The Warehouse is open on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Team Trials
The Team Trials, or just Trials, have three different modes, one for each team color - Red, Yellow, and Blue. Each of these modes can be played six times a day. In these modes you can only use Heroes that are part of whichever team's mode you play (e.g. only Red Team Heroes can be used in the Red Team Trial). You earn Badge Bits from winning battles in the Team Trials.
The Red Team Trial is open on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday. It can be accessed by characters from The Incredibles, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, The Lion King, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, WALL-E, Big Hero 6, A Goofy Movie, Finding Nemo/Dory, and Tron.
The Blue Team Trial is open on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday. It can be accessed by characters from Wreck-It Ralph, Toy Story, Hercules, Frozen, The Muppets, Aladdin, Lilo & Stitch, The Little Mermaid, and Alice in Wonderland
The Yellow Team Trial is open on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday. It can be accessed by characters from Zootopia, Moana, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Ratatouille, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Inside Out, Tangled, The Sword on the Stone, Pirates of the Caribbean, Atlantis, Robin Hood, Coco, and The Emperor's New Groove.
Difficulty Levels
All of the modes in the Port and Team Trials use a system of difficulty levels that you can choose between; higher difficulty levels pit you against tougher enemies but give you more rewards if you win. The difficulty levels are as follows:
