Mods are items in Disney Heroes: Battle Mode that are used to boost your Heroes' stats. They can be obtained as rewards from the Invasion. Each Hero can have up to four Mods equipped to them, and each Mod slot is unlocked at a specific rarity; the first slot is unlocked at Purple +1, the second slot at Purple +3, the third slot at Orange +0, and the fourth slot at Orange +2. Once equipped to a Hero, a Mod can be upgraded by increasing its level using Mod Power or by advancing it to a higher tier. The latter method costs Mod Fragments and Hero Chips; additionally, after a Mod is advanced for the first time, it becomes attuned to whichever Hero it's currently equipped to, and can only be equipped to a different Hero by spending Hero Chips of the new Hero you want to equip the Mod to.
Types of Mods[]
There are three basic types of Mods; each one has a different shape and has a different effects on Heroes.
- HP Mod: Increases the Hero's max HP. Shaped like a circle.
- BD Mod: Increases the Hero's Basic Damage. Shaped like a square.
- SP Mod: Increases the Hero's Skill Power. Shaped like a diamond.
Mod Upgrades[]
Mods can also be upgraded using Mod Upgrade Pieces, which are also earned from the Invasion. These upgrades give Mods extra effects alongside their basic function. There are nine types of Mod Upgrades in total, three for each type of Mod; and each Mod can only have one upgrade
HP Mod Upgrades[]
- Armor: Increases the Hero's Armor equal to a small percent of their Max HP.
- Reality: Increases the Hero's Reality equal to a small percent of their Max HP.
- Shield: Gives the Hero a shield at the start of the battle; the shield lasts for 6 seconds and has HP equal to a small percent of the Hero's Max HP.
BD Mod Upgrades[]
- Attack Speed: Increases the Hero's attack speed.
- Normal Crit: Increases the Hero's Normal Crit stat.
- Fantastic Crit: Increases the Hero's Fantastic Crit stat.
SP Mod Upgrades[]
- Green Skill: Increases the level of the Hero's Green Skill.
- Blue Skill: Increases the level of the Hero's Blue Skill.
- Purple Skill: Increases the level of the Hero's Purple Skill.
