This page details all of the rules and guidelines of this wiki. Note: This page is a work in progress and will be updated as necessary.
List of Rules
- No inserting false information. This wiki is meant to serve as a source of accurate and reliable information about Disney Heroes: Battle Mode; therefore, false information of any kind is prohibited - no exceptions! If you are adding information on the wiki about new or upcoming characters to the game, only do so if they have been officially confirmed by a credible source. If you're caught adding details about new characters and can't back it up with an official source, then you will be blocked for inserting false information. It doesn't matter how much you personally want a certain character to appear in the game, any given character can only be considered to be officially confirmed if it has been mentioned by one of these sources:
- PerBlue: The game's developers. They manage a website for Disney Heroes (https://discourse.disneyheroesgame.com/) and regularly post patch notes revealing new characters whenever they're preparing to update the game with new content.
- Wakkatu: A Github database (https://wakkatu.github.io/dhero/en/hero_list.htm) run by dataminers who have access to the game's code. They are capable of discovering leaks for upcoming characters.
- The Disney Heroes Battle Mode Facebook group: Dataminers are known to frequent this group and sometimes share their findings there.
- The Disney Heroes Battle Mode Discord server: This is a Discord server populated by fans of the game, as well as the occasional dataminer, who keep up with news surrounding the game.
- No spamming. Spamming is when you post something that is nonsensical or has nothing to do with anything, whether it be in the comments section, someone's message wall, or on a page. Constantly saying the same thing over and over again can also count as spam. If caught spamming, you will receive a warning - further offenses will result in a block.
- No giant character lists in the comment sections. This has been a recurring problem here on the DHBM wiki, and it's time to put an end to it. It's one thing to share with others which characters you'd like to see added into the game next, but posting a gigantic bullet pointed list full of dozens of character names is just too much. Big lists like that are much better suited for blog posts, not the comment section - no one wants to read an enormous wall of text mixed in among the comments, but most people don't mind reading through a meaty blog post. Blog posts can be created by going to your userpage, selecting the Blog tab, and clicking on the Create Blog Post button - follow these steps and you can make your very own blog post and fill it to your heart's content. Any big character lists found in the comment sections will be deleted on sight.
- No removing content from pages. This counts as vandalism - doubly so if you replace the content that was there with something else that doesn't pertain to Disney Heroes in any way. As with Rule #2, your first violation of this rule will earn you a warning, while repeat offenses may warrant a block.
- No using sock puppets for nefarious purposes. A sock puppet is an alternate account that is used to pass it off as a completely separate user. It's OK to use sock puppets on this wiki as long as you only use them for good. If you violate one of the rules and it's determined you use a sock puppet to do it, the sock puppet will be banned forever and your real account will also receive the appropriate punishment. The same will happen if you use a sock puppet to try to get around a ban. Begging to have your sock puppets unbanned is also forbidden.
- No calls for violence. This is a wiki about a video game, and games are meant to be fun - as such, calling for violence, no matter who it's against, will never be OK here. Anyone caught wishing for violence or even death against anyone else will instantly receive a block (the length will be determined based on the severity of the offense). Violating this rule a fourth time will result in a permaban.
